In other words...

Author's Note: Written for The melody lingers on. I totally LOVED this quest and, by chance, I had this plot in mind using the song "Fly Me To The Moon" (I was downloading a lot of anisongs, then while listening to Evangelion's themes the lyrics hit me lol).
I miss writing Sakurai/Aiba fics :D And usually I don't write in first person, but for this one I felt like writing in Aiba's P.O.V.
Sho exited the building saying nothing. I followed him also in silence.
The night sky was clear, the moon was bright and little stars twinkled above us. Since when the stars were so visible in Tokyo's sky?
"Are you angry?" my question came in an almost inaudible whisper.
"Not really." Sho replied casually. His tone was calm, no vestige of anger neither annoyance. But for some reason he avoided my eyes.
We were near the parking lot when suddenly I had an idea. I went closer to him and asked "May I go home with you?"
In other words, hold my hand.
Sho just nodded.
We entered in his car and kept in silence for a few minutes. Sho turned the song on and the slow melody involved us. I didn't know the song but I liked; made me relax more.
The car stopped as the traffic light turned red. I turned my face to the side, Sho was looking straight waiting the light turn to green. He said he wasn't angry but for sure something was bothering him. Didn't he like what I did during the filming?
"I just showed my affection for you." I spoke softly.
"Hm? Oh, I know. Thank you." his hand raised from the steering wheel and his fingers brushed his lips. He was nervous.
I thought he wouldn't care too much about a innocent peck on the cheek. It wasn't something new anyway.
"You could show me your affection too..."
In other words, darling, kiss me.
No one from the group had ever been bothered with such demonstrations - we were so used to the fanservice too - I couldn't understand why Sho was acting like that.
The traffic light turned green and the car started moving again. The song kept playing, Sho forgot it on the 'repeat' mode I guess. Ten minutes more of driving were enought to make me think about the facts. I looked back at Sho and this time he looked tense, even more nervous.
Five minutes later we arrived at my apartment.
"See you to-"
"Sho, why do you hide your feelings?"
In other words, please be true.
He looked at me with wide eyes, freezing in place like a ghost appeared in front of him. He looked straight again and his long fingers went to his pounty lips once more "I-I don't know what you're talking about."
"You don't need to be embarrassed. Or prideful, I don't know. If you like me, or anyone from Arashi, whoever! Just be honest. There's nothing wrong with that." I said looking seriously at him. He refused to look at me, so I held his hands and approached to him. Slowly I tilted my head and gently, softly, I kissed Sho's lips.
In other words, I love you.
