*fangirls madly* Love the fleshing out of Denethor, because I've never been able to imagine him as a young man. And every Evil!Denethor badficcer needs to read Reflection or have it carved into their brain, whichever works.

I just read that... dear Eru, what a twist! It's so dark and brooding, but it works. Excellent characterisation, particularly with making Finduilas have some backbone (would Denethor have really had two kids with a shrinking violet? I think not.) I love how Faramir was shown as more of a throwback to Numenor. Much as I love Boromir, I just don't think he'd do nightmares...
