Joia's #13-17??

My laptop crashed which means I am now paying for my delay in posting because I lost my list of books.  I know 5 of them, but I'm missing at least a couple of trashy romance novels whose titles and authors I've forgotten. *head-desk*  Considering how far behind I am on my reading list this year, I'm extremely unhappy about this.  So if I start cheating and attempt to count "The Velveteen Rabbit," just ignore me. ;-)

#13 The Partner by John Grisham - Forgettable.

#14 The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling - I loved this far more than I expected.  It was the commentaries by Dumbledore that won me over. I liked the one which explained the roots of the feud between him and Malfoy.  Dumbledore is much blunter when Harry isn't around.

#15 Suspense & Sensibility by Carrie Bebris
#16 North by Northanger by Carrie Bebris - Okay, I've decided I'm not the biggest fan of this series.  They're okay, but to be honest it takes her so long to introduce the point of the story that I struggle to maintain my interest in the stories until things pick up.

#17 The Language of Bees by Laurie R. King - I loved this story, except for the fact that the ending was a bit open-ended.

chic lit, children's lit, joia, mystery/crime & thriller
