30. The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger: 4/5, I think I first read this in college and I think I liked it better back then. It was still interesting of course.

31. Memories of My Melancholy Whores, Gabriel Garcia Marquez: 4/5, I adore anything by Marquez.

32. I Feel Bad About My Neck, Nora Ephron: 3/5, This was a cute, short read on the joys (and horrors) of growing older.

33. When You Are Engulfed in Flames, David Sedaris: 4/5, Not as funny as some of his previous stuff, but still entertaining.

34. The Book Thief, Markus Zusak: 5/5, Reread and I still love, love this book.

35. The Shipping News, E. Annie Proulx: 4/5, Reread for book group. I think I liked it better the first time I read it, but still very good.

36. Desert Solitaire, Edward Abbey: 4/5, This took me forever to read, but I really did enjoy some of his stories of life in the West.

37. Fearless Fourteen, Janet Evanovich: 3/5, Okay, I can finally say that I am starting to get a little tired of these. At what point is she going to end the series!?

38. The Yiddish Policemen's Union, Michael Chabon: 4/5, I don't usually enjoy mysteries, but I really liked the world that Chabon created here.

39. A Spot of Bother, Mark Haddon: 3/5, This was okay, but way too long.

40. A Girl Named Zippy, Haven Kimmel: 5/5, Another reread for book group and I still love that Zippy!

41. About Alice, Calvin Trillin: 4/5, This was so sweet. I read it in one sitting and then wanted to read it again.

42. The Last Lecture, Randy Pausch: 5/5, So sad, but so good.
