Avalon High: Coronation #1: The Merlin Prophecy - Meg Cabot and Jinky Coronado
My Rating - ★★★☆☆
Avalon High is one of my favourite novels by Meg Cabot, but I wasn't as fond of this manga interpretation. The art is a little difficult to get used to and the story was slowly paced (mostly because this is the first of the comic adaptations so about half of it was simply a recount of the original novel). I didn't particularly dislike it and I still plan on purchasing the future editions of the series.

A thoroughly enjoyable read. The novel was similar in feel to her Mediator series (which is a good thing in my opinion). I couldn't put it down, a nice quick read perfect for the beach or a relaxing summer evening.
Demons are Forever - Julie Kenner

I was so excited to finally find this book after quite a long search. After reading it did not disappoint at all. The novel tied up some of the loose ends of the previous two (this is a must read if you've enjoyed the previous installments) while still progressing nicely with its own plot. It also left a good tie in for the next book (Deja Demon coming in summer of 2008) leaving me eagerly anticipating more.
