Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony He's no Harry Potter, but as always, the book was a fun little trek through the fairy world with Artemis, the teenage genius no-longer-really-criminal mastermind. This is light reading when you don't want to bog your mind down for a while.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows I'll avoid spoilers, since I know there are still those who haven't read it. I'll just say that although it might have slight imperfections here and there (as all books do), I'm quite satisfied. And sorry the series is over.

So! I'm well ahead of the pace of one book a week for the year. I hope to reach 60 rather than 50 books, and I'd love to go beyond that. We'll see.
