1. The Fran Lebowitz Reader
Sometimes amusing, sometimes merely a view into a New York writer personality, but interesting enough writings.
2. Hodge - How Art Can Change Your Life
One of the books that work as morning reads; art pieces chosen to connect to certain moods.
3. Majzlik - A Vegan Taste Of Mexico
Just finishing a writer's series... pretty decent.
4. Murakami - The Strange Library (English translation)
A quick read, and pretty much lacks the usual perviness some of his other writings can have.
5. Hodge - Art In Detail: 100 Masterpieces
Same as Book #2, just longer.
6. Brand - Recovery: Freedom From Our Addictions
I know he's not a great person to admit reading these days, but this was a solid run through the 12 steps.
7. F.Gray - York Notes Advanced: 'The Picture Of Dorian Gray'
Good companion to the book, opened some new views.
8. Holiday - Discipline Is Destiny: The Power Of Self-Control
Very good book on the subject, gave me many ideas (and notes written down).
9. Dick - The Man In High Castle
Perhaps the most sane of his books, with surprising details and scenes.
10. Eco - On Literature (English translation)
Essays on the subject, some easy some not, of various lengths.
