1. Hosseini - A Thousand Splendid Suns (Finnish translation)
Much easier to read than I thought. Learned some new things about Afghanistan's history.
2. Hurley - The Stars Are Legion
Strange but a good starter read for this scifi author.
3. M.Connelly - The Narrows
A book from the library left in the free-books shelf. You don't need to read the book connected to this story, "The Poet", to read this one. The killer himself appears less than the duo searching for him.
4. Burke & Rossini - The Contemplative Rosary, With St. John Paul II & St. Teresa Of Avila
Would've liked more from the saints, but this is a(nother) good guide.
5. Goethe - The Sufferings Of Young Werther (English translation)
A very good, fairly recent translation. Once you get over the dramatic-feeling letters of the first few pages, the story starts to flow nicely, no matter what you feel about Werther and his 'feelings' drama.
6. Kawabata - The Old Capital (English translation)
Neat little story, quite film-like and something with themes to ponder on.
7. Auster - In The Country Of Last Things
Managed to read this finally on the second attempt. I feel some level of age and experience may make this work more than if you read it in your youth.
8. Giallanza - The Seven Sorrows Of Mary: A Meditative Guide
What it says it is. Quite good insights.
9. Ono No Komachi/Izumi Shikibu - The Ink-Dark Moon: Love Poems By... Women Of The Ancient Court Of Japan (English translation)
Tanka poems of two women of the Heian court, with some (good) differences. Good introduction and also has a guide to the language and the poems.
10. Reynolds - Pushing Ice
A story of two women, and other people, stuck on a ride on an alien structure, with all the power struggles and dangers from the aliens. Much more interesting than what I can say *lol*
