Stitch by Sue Brown

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this anthology. I couldn't pick a favorite. They're all very different and yet centered over the theme of a 'made man' ala Frankenstein. As a lifelong fan of fantasy and science fiction, there was something for me in every one of the stories.

Kim Fieldings's The Golem of Mala Lubnovya, the Jewish tales of animated men of clay was explored in the most fascinating of ways.

Jamie Fessenden's WatchWorks has a great Victoriana Steampunk vibe and explores what it really means to be alive.

Eli Easton's Reparations hangs closest to Frankenstein's monster in a Sci-Fi setting on a harsh world and an even harsher penal system.

Sue Brown's Made For Aaron is more the future is now sort of thing and quite creepy.

Each novella is solid and enjoyable.
