The YA fiction won out by a landslide this month. Cashore's series continued to impress, and I'm glad I read it in the order that I did. Brilliant, tough female characters, non-cookie cutter endings, breaking of traditionalist values: thoroughly enjoyable. Clare's "Mortal Instruments" series is addicting as well. I've already finished the next two in the series--must wait for next month--and have the others on request from my local library.
The fanfiction listed is all in the Rumbelle universe because ABC just isn't getting it right!
Taken by the Monsters was something I thought I wanted to read and regretted very soon after purchasing. There are some things you cannot un-read!
