Everyone should go out and get a copy of The Book Thief. It took me a while to get into it, probably because the formatting on my Kobo made things extra confusing, but it's a cathartic read from an interesting pov.
A. Lee Martinez is flippin' hilarious! I wrote a review for another of his/her books maybe last year and have recently downloaded a couple, and the guy/girl just doesn't stop, everything is unpredictable and funny!
I watch Kate Beaton's comics online but had to jump at picking up her volume. They are full of history/literature/over the top melodrama--and that's just the pirates! Who can resist a pirate? Not you!
