Hmm made it to 50 books.I can't help noticing that if I really dislike a book I spend alot of time whining about it but if I like the book the review is much shorter. To that end, spoilers in the Ms. Ryan book review.

I find this too or if not whining then exploring more why I didn't like it - my bad reviews often are the most detailed.

A good friend of mine said he quite enjoyed having a book he could have a good rant about rather than just saying a few words about its worthiness.

I haven't read your review as I have the Ryan book to read :)

I think that might be it, exploring (or defending) why I didn't like something. I like your friend's take on it.

Yes I wouldnt' read my review if you plan on reading the book. You could easily be of a totally different opinion too
