39 MACBETH

I have a lot of catch-up to do!!

39 MACBETH William Shakespeare (England, 1603)

Of all the plays I read by Shakespeare, this one is the best, along with Hamlet and Richard III. It is painfully poetic and the characters are haunting.

Here's a famous quote:

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage, And then is heard no more. It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.

Do I need to say more?
