33) The Magician's Nephew by C.S Lewis

Somehow this year of reading has rapidly become the year of children's books. I don't mind but I just didn't plan for it to happen this way. I've never read C.S Lewis before except for some excerpts from "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" when I was in elementary school. The language is quite beautiful and complex enough for an adult to enjoy, yet simple enough for a child to understand. I could clearly see the correlation between the bible and this story and I found it very interesting how he bound the two together. I'm looking forward to reading the next one and continue on this children's book frenzy.
