I've been whizzing through books, but so bad about recording them! This will be a long list, so I'll be kind and put it behind a cut.

#23 A Writer's Diary - Virginia Woolf

#24 Winner of the National Book Award - Wincey Jillett

#25 A Guide to the Birds of East Africa - Nicholas Drayson

#26 Design for Murder - Carolyn G. Hart

#27 Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie - Alan Bradley (This was one of my favorites! I loved the precocious character of Flavia DeLuce and how she undertook to solve a murder to clear her father. She wasn't always believable, but fun. The interaction with her sisters was great as well. I highly recommend this one!)

#28 In the Heat of the Night - John Ball

#29 Unpunished - Charlotte Perkins Gilman

#30 A Proper Education For Girls - Elaine DiRollo

#31 Malice in Magoddy - Joan Hess

#32 The Ghost and Mrs. McClure - Alice Kimberly (This was such a fun series)

#33 The Ghost and the Dead Deb - Alice Kimberly

#34 Grey Mask - Patricia Wentworth

#35 The Ghost and the Dead Man's Library Alice Kimberly

#36 Mockingbird: A Portrait of Harper Lee Charles J. Shields

#37 A Jury of Her Peers: American Women Writers From Anne Bradstreet to Annie Proulx - Elaine Showalter (This was an amazingly well-researched book. A wonderful, meaty, academic book that was a great pleasure to read. I loved this one!)

#38 Literacy and Longing in L.A. - Jennifer Kaufman and Karen Mack (Fun!)

#39 Bastard Out of Carolina - Dorothy Allison

#40 Peony in Love - Lisa See

#41 The Elegance of the Hedgehog - Muriel Barbery (Wow! I loved this one! Brilliantly written and translated. Both warm and a bit aloof at the same time. The author really draws you into the characters.)

#42 To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee (I often re-read this favorite and get something different from it every time!)

#43 Star Spangled Murder - Leslie Meier

#44 You'll Never Nanny in This Town Again: The True Adventures of a Hollywood Nanny - Suzanne Hansen

#45 Funny in Farsi - Firoozeh Dumas

#46 Break Point - Martina Navratilova and Liz Nichols

#47 The Miracle at Speedy Motors - Alexander McCall Smith (I love The #! Ladies's Detective Agency series!)

#48 Tea Time For the Traditionally Built - Alexander McCall Smith

#49 The Illustrated Lark Rise to Candleford - Flora Thompson

#50 The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher - Kate Summerscale

#51 Up the Down Staircase - Bel Kaufman

#52 Red Azalea - Anchee Min

#53 The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox - Maggie O'Farrell (I read this in 24 hours. It was hard to put down)

#54 84 Charing Cross Road - Helene Hanff (Re-read of a favorite! A bookworm's delight! I read this in about 2 hours. I only wish it were longer!)

#55 Bon Bon Voyage - Nancy Fairbanks (A really fun culinary cozy! I now intend to read the rest of the Carolyn Blue series! With a Mediterranean cruise, gourmet food, an attempted hijacking and murder this was the perfect summer read!)
