16. From the Cradle to the Graves: Short Stories
Another collection of short stories by various authors, only this one is unabridged. YES! One of the stories is a repeat from the
last collection i read, but since it was the complete version it was much better. These stories were all very good, and all were about
relationships. It ranged from all different levels in society, all different stages of life, and the authors were from a good
variety of countries, so it gives it a cultural feel even though they are all originally in english. I quite enjoy reading short stories, and this whole
compilation only took me around an hour and a half to read. the authors featured in this book are Saki, Evelyn Waugh, Somerset Maugham,
Roald Dahl, Frank Sargeson, Raymond Carver, H.E. Bates, and Susan Hill. The only one i had ever heard of before was Roald Dahl, so it expanded my knowledge
quite a bit. A very satusfying read.
