Hi there! I'm glad to have found a community like this, as it will give me more ideas on books I should pick out for this year. Last year I challenged myself to the 25 book Challenge, and read 30 books. I think I'm up to this challenge!

Here's what I've read so far this year:

50 Book Challenge- January/February

PR= Previously Read

1. Twilight - Stephenie Meyer (PR)
2. The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding - La Leche League
3. The Vaccine Book - Dr. William Sears
4. Marley & Me - John Grogan

It's a book about a dog. And it's owners. And how the dog is sort of insane. And does some crazy stuff. Stuff that Bella has done. Well written, and good read (especially if you are a dog lover) but it wasn't amazing. Cute story, and I think the movie will be cute too.

5. Revolutionary Road - Richard Yates

Oh. My. God. I loved this book. I kept thinking that this book would make an amazing discussion- the characters are intricate, and the story line is familiar but not boring. I liked it a lot.

6. Dead Until Dark - Charlaine Harris

I was a fan of the Twilight series, and wanted a new vampire to obsess over for awhile. Harris definitely can write an addicting storyline.

Living Dead in Dallas - Charlaine Harris

Another good read in the Sookie Stackhouse series. The way other characters are being pulled into the storyline is nice, and the suspense is still there, without being too predictable.
