54.  One Skein Wonders: Yarn Shop Favorites, edited by Judith Durant.  220 pages.  (2006)

Grade: A

This is a collection of 101 projects that can be made with only one ball (or skein) of a particular yarn.  They range from scarves and baby clothes to purses, shawls, and hats.  The projects are arranged by yarn weight, from bulky to fingerling, plus sections for novelty yarns and for mohair.

I have read this once (I got it on Friday), and want to make at least ten of these.  It's particularly useful if you have only a certain yardage of a particular wool, and are curious about what you might be able to make out of it.  I also like the section that has pictures of all the completed works.
