There are two stories . . . and both have to do with a guy I was crushing on at the time. The guys that I crush on make me act like an idiot.
First story I was watching my brother’s baseball game and I had a crush on his lead pitcher. His father had a 57 red Chevy, very hot car, and I didn’t realize it was his car until after the fact. My friend’s brother was also on that team and we were in the parking lot giggling, gossiping, and telling secrets of boys. I admitted I thought he was cute as he and his father walked by. They both looked at my friend and I with a weird look as I replied with “Nice Car” completely blushing.
The second story was when I worked in Wendy’s there was this guy that they put on grill and at first I didn’t really notice him as I they had me on dinning room and cashier, but once I started to work as sandwich maker we talked more. His was just working while he was learning culinary. I enjoyed working with him as he made me laugh, but I didn’t realize he had a girlfriend (I should have known.) The night manager couldn’t stand me after some bad politics when down and I had to tell the store manager, so he would make sure that we had different shifts. However everyone realized that I really did like him when I would try to get my shifts changed. Everyone would pick on each other and then one night he told the girl that worked in drive thru that he had a girlfriend as I walked into the conversation. He believed that it was the night manager starting the rumors about us, because he knew it hurt me, but didn’t know it was truth until the manager blabbed it out one night. I faked being sick and left for home early.
Why do guys who I have crushes on always make me like so stupid?
