Title: Please don't upset me: A Huge Rant
Prompt No.: 33 The things that get me upset.

Rating: Rated R
Word count: 1158
Warnings: I’m sorry it I sound like a hostile bitch, but the prompt is things that make me upset.

Well, first of all I looked up the word “Upset” in the thesaurus. The word upset means chaotic, torn up, frantic, shocked, worried, unsettle, unbalanced, distressed etc.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of those words are those commercials where the animals are ill and injured . . . they always make me cry. I feel like my heart breaks every time I see those images. I am a huge animal person and it hurts me that I cannot currently have an animal at the apartment with out 4 four pages of what do for the animal and what to feed it. . . I am keeping an animal stuck in a cage or imprison on a leash inside.

If I ever witness anyone harming an animal, I will become unleash and they will turn into my animal for a dose of their own treatment. Animals do not judge anyone, they just want to be loved, played with, and cared for. It’s not hard if you love them animals. If you are not an animal person, then do not keep a pet, because taking care of them will feel like a chore.

I just wrote about this is a previous blog, but another thing that really disturbs me is when a parents feels that they have protect and completely pamper their kid so much that they do not learn how to take care of themselves. I also cannot understand the person who relies on their parent until a million years old. I always believe that a parent is purpose to teach you right and wrong and the life lesson so that you can be a functioning adult. (It’s like the saying: If you fish for a man, he can only eat once, but if you teach a man to fish, he can eat for a lifetime.) Parents are supposed to teach your kids to fish so to speak, and then send then out into the world so they can teach others to fish.  Parents are supposed to teach their kids how to face their own battles. (I understand you are supposed to protect your kid, but sometimes just letting them get hit and face their own fights is how you protect and teach at the same time. It’s like allowing your kid make their own armor instead of letting them sit behind their parents all of their life. What would happen when the parent isn’t there anymore?) I’m glad my parents let me make my own mistakes and face my own fights. (I feel sorry a few people I know who will always live behind their parents.)

I am also pissed at those parents who get married or stayed married, because of the kids. . . Believe me (being one of the experienced kids) the kids do not want that burden on their shoulders when they know that their parents are miserable or that they are over working or cheating on each other simply because they feel that they have to be together. That is the moment when the kids blame themselves that their parents are not happy. The kids want their parents just as happy and the parents want the kids.

Hollywood’s image just upsets me. . . you have to be a 36-24-36 and size double 00 while you have DD breasts, which by the way cannot be done. I am so far from a size 0 it isn’t funny, but I am happy with myself. If you’re a man you have to have a flat stomach or a perfect six-pac. . . it is so unrealistic. Even reality shows you always have the super thin girls and the guys with their hair slicked back. I know sex, drugs and violence sells, but I think Hollywood needs to take responsibility for the image that push on girls who puke to beautiful or the druggy who cannot afford rehab like the celebrities can. I believe that Hollywood drives many of our addictions and it’s really sad.

I am going to try to make a really long story short  . . .  I am just going to put politics and religions together, because they do the same things. They twist the words and try to brain wash everyone with words while they are bashing something or someone. I can’t stand either one.

For the politicians, just tell me simply what you plan to do for the people. How are you trying to make the county, the state, the country a better place? How are you going to find more jobs for people who are seeking? (I didn’t mention school, I mention jobs.) How are you going bring back jobs from foreign countries, because I think really the jobs here, especially if the company is in an American company? (If I have to get someone to build a machine to read minds all of the government officials would regret it, because we will use it on you first. . . and you should NOT be given the choice. America wants to know who representing them!)

For the religious fanatics, I will not believe what you say; because you have a bring-your-dish meal once a month or that you have cookies. . . I certainly will not believe you when push a bunch of rules down my throat and then tell me I am going to hell, because I will not conform. The churches are full of corrupted, lying people that are so afraid of facing the truth that they are hurt the few good people in the church that are trying to help. The worst part is most of them rather simply believing the lair than the look into the situation deeper to see the truth. (The truth is not over rated, but a church full of people might think differently.) I do not like when you tell me what I am supposed to believe. (And you can’t back it up without saying: you’ll burn in hell or you believe in or worship Satan if you don’t believe what we believe. That is a judgment call that you do not have the authority to make.)

My have my own set of beliefs that I have faith in . . . they work for me. I do believe in a God, and a Goddess, and spiritual wisdom. I do believe that Christ existed and died. I believe in Karma (Christians just called it the Golden Rule. . . you do onto others as you want others to do to you. The Golden Rule even when I went to church was my motto. . . I wanted to be treated fairly and not judge so I tried to my best to do the same to others. I still do.)

Those are just some of the things that upset me.
