warping young minds
I feel like I never contribute to fan communities, but I actually have something that might fit right in here!
I'm an elementary school teacher, and I play a game with my students that involves drawing a 'race track' on the board, and I use hand-drawn magnetic game pieces for their teams to race as they answer questions right.

Star Wars fans will probably recognise the X-Wing; and it's a bit blurry to tell, but that is Oceanic flight 815 for the LOSTies. And if you haven't spotted it yet, that's the TARDIS there:
The funny thing is, even though Doctor Who airs on NHK, my kids are too young to watch it, so unlike the X-Wing, none of them know what a TARDIS is. In one of my classes, that team called themselves the "toilet team" for the duration of the game!
