"I look pretty young but I'm just back-dated...yeah."
I entered my drawing of John into the Congressional Art competition for our district. We didn't win but like I want him to be stuck in some tunnel under the Capitol building for a year. lol. There was a super fabulous Pop painting of Obama this one girl did though, I thought for sure she'd win but instead it was this girl with a tiny pencil drawing of some owl eyes. Yeah, owl eyes. wow. AND we were supposed to dress up. She goes up to accept the honor or whatever in a sun dress, hoodie, and FLIP-FLOPS! How many times must it be said that flip-flops, no matter what brand are not dressy?! Sandals maybe, if it's summer and appropriate but not freaking flip-flops. /rant.
Anyway, I just finished the stupid paper for Firn and I need to go to bed but I'm thinking of catching some of the good Doctor since I didn't get to yesterday. Of course, I did persuade Mrs. Buccolo let us watch the movie in class today. No one watched it though but me. Like I care. I got to see the part where "his shoes fit perfectly" That pretty much made my morning. lol. Eighth Doctor randomness ftw. =)

p.s. Today, I realized how much I miss my Beatles obsession. Not that it left, I just don't fangirl over them as much now. Sorry boys, I'll make it up to you someday. ALSO, if anyone would like to spam me with some nice looking John and/or George pics, I wouldn't say no. ;)
