Dress clothes and haaaair day?
Went shopping today for dress clothes for work. And also to replace our supply of quill brushes. ♥
(This is my Christmas present from my parents.)
Got:
-Three pairs of dress pants: one pinstripe, one patterned strangely, and one solid black.
-A totally awesome plaid skirt that I love to absolute pieces.
-Brown dress shirt that doesn't match any of the pants or the skirt, but is awesome anyway.
-Seriously cute brown sweater with hood.
-Dark grey sweater that goes well with pants and skirt.
Still need:
-Dress shirts! At least two of which (one white and one with bluey red to match skirt) have to work under the grey sweater.
-Purse. Can't keep using my shoulder bag, it's killing my back.
I'm heading to Goodwill (grand opening! Where the Albertson's by Shorecrest used to be.) and Ross tomorrow and hopefully I will be successful. Work training starts Monday, so I really hope I can find some dress shirts before then.
I've been collecting stuff for under the tree presents for a few months now. I don't want to open the Superhero Pony until then, for instance. And Bumblebee and Pink Arcee and Storytime Pinkie Pie and Plushie Pinkie Pie are also going under the tree. As soon as we get it up. Which will be as soon as we get some shelves in the laundry room. Which has just been painted. Tomorrow is the last coat of paint, then another day to dry, then we'll move the laundry machines in. And then hopefully shelves. So we can stop storing canned goods in the living room. It's getting kind of awkward.
Grarg.
I really want to play with hair. And henna again. My roots are bothering me. Anyone up for a henna day? Anyone with a house we can use or some seriously substantial outdoor heaters? And gloves? And maybe a bucket or something to make rinsing that mud out easier...this time I definitely have to finish rinsing at home, though. I no longer use shampoo so I get the feeling it's going to take me a while to get the stuff out.
It'd be super awesome if we could dust first, but I understand not everyone is absolutely thrilled by spending hours searching and destroying split-ends.
Come on, guys! Hair day! I'll bribe you with Dove chocolates! And/or silly movies! Movie/hair tiems? Plees? Saturday is good this week or next week for me, what's your schedule?
