Is it wrong to miss the past? I mean I spend most of my days looking forward to things to come. Dreaming, planning, envissioning, wondering. I know it's important to reflect on the past live in the present and look to the future. However today as I was tiredly walking to the kitchen, cleaning out the coffee maker and making a fresh pot to start the day I was suddenlt for if only a split second trasnformed, taken back in time. For a moment in time I remembered the long days at Daher. Exausted from an early morning and long day I would head to Mel's, if time permitted I would toss on NOT a coffee, but a cup of tea. (Coffee and cafien SUCKS for your voice) Herbal tea juice and water all the way. I would shower, and jump in Don's car and together we would head to threshold youth. I would enjoy Singing and great time with some funky peeps. Or.....further back I would toss on a pot off coffee, head out and drum, while either Tim or Jeff lead worship.THEEEEEEEEEEEN there were small groups. And The Leaders meetings ohhhhhhhh glory be the leaders meetings. Cam ALWAYS got ridiculed for his food. Hey TIM, let's bring pizza. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the times we had. Such FUN days.
I guess this is a shout out to all the Threashold peeps that have become an integral part of my life in any small or lagre way shape or form. I won't name names cuz really everyone who's ON lj who was at COTR in those years is included. You guys are definatly a funky cool bunch.
I love you all.
catch ya when I do.
