Well I am not sure...when I was younger I sung to many a men I could never have. I kicked my head in trying to get these guys to like me. I wanted love, I wanted a partner, and I got guys looking for sex. And I would sing, and I would pursue, and I would cry.

Now, now I am not looking. Now I am the one to shy away from even dating. I had this guy who works at the Starbuks I go to ask ne out..took me, not kidding, two monthes to decide to go ahead. And even then, I didn't want to return his calls.

So I would say I have been both, and I bet you will be also...you want someone, we all do, but the level of your want might have less to do with the them you are after, and more about the part of you, you are missing. I have found many a times I have chased a guy, cause he had something I didn't. When in fact, I should have gone and found it in myself.

I used to dream that prince charming would come, sweep me off my feet with a smile and all would be perfect. And then I thought, why would prince charming come for me ? Why dont I become prince charming and go find my own person to sweep off with. I stopped being passive about it, I stopped waiting for someone to make me whole and did it myself.

Now, I don't look for someone to complete me, I look for someone to share me with..

It's about what we have, not what we don't have. You have more than you think...
