What do you mean by "weird"? [He hopes that she doesn't mean bad - he's heard the food's free here, and he doesn't want that idea spoiled by the food tasting terrible.]

Oh, that's good. I was worried you were gonna say that all the food here was spoiled or something. I'm not a good cook, but at least somebody'll be able to make something good outta what's there!
