The Downlow~
I know I've been totally GONE for awhile, so here's the downlow on what's been going on in my life.
I've applied to 4 out of the 8 schools on my list: Fairleigh Dickinson, Drexel, Purdue Calumet & James Madison. The other four left are Sarah Lawrence, Emerson, University of Chicago and University of Southern California. The process isn't as stressful as I thought it would be, the nerve-wracking part is writing the essay. I have a really good essay, and though I have to write maybe two other ones; I'm really not as worried about it as I was before.
Play Rehearsals have been going really well, I've managed to find the comedy in my character. :)
On another note, I dropped French 4 Honors.
I know all of y'all are like: "*GASP*, But she loves French!" Yeah, I do love French. J'adore le langue de Francais. But I realize that I don't have the kind of time this year to do all the studying that the class requires, and I can't afford to have it screw up my GPA. Unfortunately, its too late to switch it for a different class so I have to be in Study Hall. Otherwise, I would be in AP Psyche. Madame wasn't as upset as I thought she would be. Actually, she wasn't really upset at all. D: When I told her why I was dropping the class, she said: "Well your grades show it. Good luck." Let me break this down for you.
I got ONE bad grade on a quiz in her class! We've had many quizzes and I got either As or Bs. I was quite offended!
Also, Madame has had me for 2 years, this would be her third. I thought she would care at least a little! Oh well. C'est la vie. Ironically, I am now in study hall with a girl who needs help in French 1 and I'll be helping her. On the bright side, my best friend won't have to sit alone at lunch anymore because I'm now in his lunch period! Let's call him Russ, short for Russian.
But, that's the story so far.
