Autumn
I'm feeling cool now b/c I've just gotten a renewed energy for trying to get my business off the ground. My stuff finally came in for my baskets (though unfortunately, quite a bit of it was the belated Halloween party shipment) and I put together a birthday basket for my friend Sally. I'm really quite proud of how nicely it came together. But I'm going to stop now before I get too full of myself.
So I had this zinger idea for what to do w/the Halloween stuff before it becomes outdated. I'm going to go around w/postcard-size pieces of paper, a Halloween pencil and a glow in the dark bracelet and stick them in mailboxes. The paper is going to be some promo bit for my Christmas baskets. Throwing in the pencil as my calling card and the bracelet to excite the kids made me start cackling wildly. I think it might work(!!)
Other than that, it's absolutely Gorgeous outside. There is a wonderful spattering of rain and the air has this slick smell of slightly rotted leaves that I honestly can't remember having smelled since I was a kid. Just that realization alone caused a pleasureable shiver to rip through me. A strange happiness took over. It was like it was coming back to me...
I'm staring at this Delicious Draco icon and I swear I'm falling more in love w/it each time...
