So how, exactly, does this work? Ah, the perpetual question.... First, you have to make your claim. When your claim is verified, you'll also be given a reminder of which set you're expected to be using. Which set will that be? Well, if you're the first person to claim whatever it is you're wanting, you'll start with the set of the season. If not, you'll start with the next set in the order. Confused? Okay, let's say you want to claim .... GacktxHyde. If no one has completed this pairing before you, then you start with the current season. If, on the other hand, someone claimed and completed, say, a spring set for this pairing, then you'd move on to the summer set.
