Someone Like You
Today (technically) is my niece's 3rd birthday. I have a lot to do today before her birthday.... My sister and I are going to be getting the cake, going to pick up a friend of hers for the party, and then picking up my Christmas gift from her...
My sister is getting me a kitten.... I miss having a cat in my room, being there, and couldn't stand the not-there-anymore feelings so, when she asked if I thought I was ready, I said yes.
I havent seen it yet (I don't even know if it is a boy or girl)... I know it is grey. And short-haired.... And prolly has blue eyes... I just have to see. I bought a few things for it tonight, since its gonna need a food and water dish... ANd its own litter box for a while... Its 14 weeks old... I am excited, but trying to keep in mind that this is a new beginning. A new start, and a totally different personality I will be learning, helping to develop, teaching... I keep trying to make sure I know I am not replacing Pepper.
