I know some people totally hated on this scene but its was just as I imagined it in the book. The look on Rob's face totally cracked me up the first time I saw it in the theater and has done the same everytime I've watched it since. I also loved Kristens reactions, especially when she smelled her hair. This scene down downgrated because I am afraid of barn owls (behind Edward) and I was crying/screaming/laughing when I first saw it...
Also another scene that was pretty close to how I imagined it in the book, but better I love the atmosphere of the resturant and the intimacy it brings between Bella and Edward. Also I love Rob's song in the background, that was a great touch. Finally I loved the quote, "Money, Sex, money, sex...CAT." HILARIOUS.
This was just totally epic thanks mostly to the great special effects and of course Muse's Super Massive Blackhole blasting in the background. It just looks like so much fun! Especially Jasper when he twirls that bat around! YUM. And I love when Edward runs into the woods after the ball...Oh, and Carlisle, yeah...AWESOME. And Rosalie was a total bitch and I loved it.
This was the scene that totally stuck with me after I left the theater, I loved how the montage of her research was put together and it showed Bella's train of thought in a really awesome way. I totally squee'd out loud when we see the "real" Edward chowing down on Bella's neck, AHH! I loved the little shout out to "traditional" vampire movies, and Rob looks yummy in eyeliner...
Perhaps it was because my own prom sort of sucked or I am just a complete sucker for romantics and vampires I LOVED this scene. I thought that Kristen and Rob did a great job bringing the intensity of that moment alive, I coudl feel Bella's erm...yearning and fear of getting older and Edwards reluctant but strong stance not to change her. I really think it sets the stage perfectly for New Moon and it drives me nuts having to wait for it!!!
