(no subject)
today was probably the most hectic day i have ever had at sonic. at 12:20, right in the middle of lunch rush, the computers decided to go down. that means no monitors working, no orders being taken, and no prices being calculated. we had to stop everything and get paper and a pen out and hand take every order. we would go outside take an order, come inside, read the order to the cook, get the drinks made, get the food made, and hand the written receipt to the manager, calculated a price, and then rushed the orders out. every single damn order was exactly like that and it was complete chaos. if only you worked there and you would understand how bad it was. surprisingly we only had ONE lady get pissed. she was this heavy set black woman and she came in all pissed because no one answered the speaker that didn't work... so she got a free meal. bitch.
anyways, other than that my day has been pretty good. school sucks and im not doing to well because i don't put ANY effort into it. my hours are about to cut in half because i'm sick of working so much... maybe then my grades will improve.
tonight i get to spend some quality time with my family. and to be honest i am kinda relieved because i have been so busy lately. i feel bad that i hardly ever have time with them. oh well im rambling.
