I had a huge fight with my father today. I can see where I get the passive aggressive thing when I'm stressed or when things aren't going well. And I can see how I hurt people, especially the people I care about most that way. I think that's part of the reason why she chose someone else. I hurt her too much.
I saw the most spectacular rainbow today, so intense and against the backdrop of a brownish-red sky as the sun was setting through porous clouds. And my first reaction was to call her to tell her. But I didn't. It's really hard when you can't share something so beautiful with someone you think is just as beautiful.
