So... about how much Long Beach City College sucks...
Actually I don't really want to talk about it. Actually, I kind of do. But, it is, after all, a long story, and I'm kind of afraid people will start saying, "Oh, that's not too bad," and, "I'm sure it will get better," and seeing as I already applied (today) at Rancho, I really don't need that now do I? So... don't say that.
To make a long story short, school today was fine. It was the first day, actually. The thing is, I don't really have any of the classes that I actually need. And because the stupid teacher's union at the school decided to go on a strike and not let any late registration-ees into their classes, it doesn't look like i'm GOING to have them, either. So, after trying to switch my schedule around a few times, I got angry, started crying, and gave up. Then I drove back to dear old Santa Ana and applied at Rancho. And registered for some classes, too. And tomorrow I'm going back to hell (LBCC) to get my damn assessment results, and to drop all my classes, of course.
The downside? Well, I might lose a little money that we already paid to LBCC, but the only really BAD part is, there was a really hot guy in my art class. Hm. : (
