somehow, today was a really good day.
i had a full day of work, 9-5, doing excel formating all goddam day- I didn't want to get up this morning.
my plans fell through with sophy- we were going to retry the photo-shoot we started last night but she didn't get much sleep. she's holding my clothes hostage.
but.
I took an awesome shower. I worked on my list of shit to bring to bennington. I talked to Max on the phone- it'd been a while- & he's in town so we might actually hang out for the first time in almost a year. Seriously, the last time I saw him, I hit him for valid reasons & now I'm happy to be friends. What a world.
So then I talked to Tisha on the phone about this rat that's living with a snake- the snake's afraid to eat it & the rat made a nest out of snake skin & I saw a camel in a trailer. Went into Baskin Robbins & bought a sundae.
& I'm walking down my favorite street in Sonoma (Vigna- there are only 2 houses on the whole block), eating my favorite ice cream (chocolate & peanut butter) & the scent of my freshly washed shirt finds it's way into my nose & I'm wearing my favorite pants and favorite shoes & a really good song is playing through my headphones. The stars are out- the sky a brilliant blue as the sun was still setting beyond the houses- and the moon is a blazing sliver. It was just the most wonderful combination. Then Marvin Gaye- "Let's Get It On" came on & I laughed.
& proceeded to have a nearly 3 hour long long distance phone conversation. I got two missed calls in the process. Whoops. Sorry there.
Now I'm sleepy & back sore.
Ice cream for dinner is the greatest.
