Beside her, on a pillow, is a Chansey egg, a present from Clive. It is closely watched by the Growlithe Clover had agreed to take off Kisa's hands.

She rests her chin on her folded arms while ( Read more... )

I don't know that it would be counted as "good," but I did receive something that was very useful to me in the past. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to work, here.

[A thank you card should have reached Clover by now!]

Is it a weapon? Or some sort of advanced technology?

[Clover appreciates the thank you card. And Fuu's egg is...oh, the Growlithe is going to roll it back next to the Chansey egg. It was behind the pillow.]

[Meaning you totally forgot about it I SEE HOW IT IS.]

Oh, nothing like that. It's magic.

[H-HEY THE GROWLITHE WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION WHILE GUARDING THE EGGS WITH HER LIFE...]

Magic? For real? [Clover, you should know by now that magic is real in some worlds.]

Is it surprising? [Man she thought everyone was just kind of used to magic existing here :|a]

Well...I don't know too many people with magical powers. What kind of magic is it?

It's a magical tool I was given some time ago. It's storage space, except that it generally can fit anything of any size in it, and it acts to your will. So if I was in danger, and I had a sword inside of it, it would react and give me said sword.

However, though I normally have a sword inside of it, I can't seem to make it work. A pity, I was going to test Umi-san's idea of putting books and such inside of it.

Wow, that would be so useful if it worked here.

It would. Unfortunately, it doesn't.

I'm afraid I'm more curious as to where they managed to find it, since it's been quite some time since it was actually in my possession.

You...lost it? Or did you give it to someone else?

Oh, neither, really. It's just no longer mine, that's all.

Oh. I guess they find it the way they found all of us and the stuff we got from our worlds?

It's possible. Still strange, though. Of all the things it could bring... [She's leaving this open to offer to listen if Clover wants to talk about what appears to be so bad.]

If it's useful, I'd say what you got counted as good. [No such luck, but maybe later.]

I suppose. It certainly has a lot of memories, even if I can't use it.

That's right. Good memories, yeah?
