Stupid people suck
I had yet another day at work with stupid people. Yesterday was worse though. Yesterday I had a lady come in and spend 3 hours looking for ugly glasses. She was the classic engineer that drove a BMW and wore nice clothes with lots of nice jewelry, and wanted bare bones glasses. Three hours of trying some of the ugliest glasses frames in existance and she then wants to go top of the line with her lenses. I was so dumb struck that I had to point out that more people see her face than her COACH bag. She didn't care. It was 8 o'clock and the lab was closing up and she says (in broke English) "I'll be back at 9 to get them." Fuck!!! That made us stay open 10 minutes later because she was late. Then she had the audacity to say she didn't really care how they fit she was tired and wanted to go home.
Today the stupid people were the phone company, who I can't find a bill from to pay, but i'll take care of it in the morning. I don't think they sent me one as far as I know I recieved a welcome packett, that tells you how to use all the features you never use on the phone, and my DSL package. The other stupid people were my co-workers. They through a hissy fit about me taking my lunch early, after they had taken their lunches, when there were no patients on the schedule to get my PPD test read 3 blocks away at the medical center. Where the hell to they get off telling me I should have done it before work. I explained it to them 2 days ago that it would be this way and that you had to wait 48 hours to have it read. AAAAGH.
All this said, they have also been bitching at us about overtime. So tonight we left the store a mess clocked out and left. It'll be fun being yelled at on saturday when I go in. I can't wait to say.. oh that four days extra I said I could work after my two week notice... fuck ya!...
