Road to Guantanamo
So i totaly just saw Road to Guantanamo. Its about 3 brithish citizens who were in pakastan for thier friends wedding. They went to afganastan and the US attacked while they were there. The 3 friends were not arrested because that would mean they were charged. They were kidnaped by the resistance and then handed over to the US. The film follows thier journey and the abuse they took at guantanamo. Then finaly released without even an apology.
Media servs a perpous. It makes us aware of the world around us. It sparks debate and hopefuly change. People must know what thier government is doing. It's scary becuse the US is so powerful. Who can stand up to us and tell us no. No one. They can shame us but they cant stop us. Were too big for our own good. Sure this move will pass out of my mind and i will have my normal distain for american government, but the injustice will not Stop. There is no one to stop it.
We are invincible now and when we fall our conquerors will judge us for our injustice and the people of this country will sufer for our governments mistakes.
