sunday morning
i have a few songs buzzing around my head this morning, funny how rain gets my noggin going...
'it's raining again' - supertramp
'sitting on the dock of the bay' - otis redding
'rain rain go away' - miscellaneous remembrances of singing that song with children
'raindrops keep falling on my head' - tony orlando and dawn (i think)
it's not raining hard, thankfully. my little guy woke up about 1/2 hour ago and we're going to head over to my 93 yr old client to take her to church. sometimes her 89 yr old sister comes along (they live right next door to each other) if she feels up to it - poor lady has osteoporosis and arthritis big time. as for my 'miss daisy' (lol) she's good physically for the most part but her mind is not going too well, dementia is advancing but i figure at her age she's doing damn well! i hope and pray that someday, provided i get to be old, someone will be kind and loving to me.
having a cup of coffee, trying to shake out the cobwebs - i didn't get into bed till around 3 am, i just couldn't relax enough to sleep. i zoned out on a re-run of cold case and finally nodded off.
