So, Sunday I headed back to school. Got moved in. Jordan's a total gem - he helped me carry stuff in and even put clothes on hangers for me. :)
Started class on Monday. The line up:
PS 112 - Writing and Politics
HIS 110(?) - History of Modern China
FREN 111 - French!!!!!!
SOC 280 - Global Cultures
ART 225 - Black and White Photography!!!!
All great classes. I'm going to have a total ball this semester!
On Thursday, I turned in all of my paperwork to go to Belgium this fall for a semester. AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Totally pumped about that. I know, I can hear you now..."Belgium? Why Belgium?". And the truth is, I don't really know. It just stuck out to me when I was browsing through programs. Anyway, I'll be in Brussels.
Other exciting stuff I found out on Thursday:
~I'm able to join the "International Students Club" on campus. (BTW - pretty sure I want to major in International Studies)
~I can probably work in the office on campus that handles International Student stuff when I return from Europe
~Senegal. A faculty led trip to Senegal (a French-speaking place, mind you) in Spring 2009. Hello!!
So that's what's up.
Home this weekend for my dad's birthday. :)
Ooh, also, something extremely cool I heard about on the news last night. Have you ever heard of the Terra-Cotta Warriors of China? If not, Google it.
Anyway, they have two of these guys at the Midland Center for the Arts for the next few months. Totally plan on checking it out! You should too!
That's it. Later.
