so yeah.. it's like retardedly early in the morning and brilliant me, I can't sleep.. soo what do I do? I WRITE. because that makes sooo much sense. anyway here's some random.. stuff blahblah crap and whatnot.
Pale moonlight filtered in through the drawn curtains, painting figures and shadows on the walls of the dimly lit apartment. Two figures laid sprawled uncerimouniously in bed. One's chest slowly rising and falling in tandem with soft sounds of breath, while the other figure lie as still as death itself. The smaller of the two, raven haired, pale skinned, with dove grey eyes as peerless as the clouds which colour they shared, stirred from the sheets, involuntarily gasping as he sat upright but there was no need for the air in his lungs.
Now, vampires were not of the dreaming beings, their minds blank and empty upon sleep but something had startled October. Something had caused him enough upset to rise him from the very depths of REM itself. For a moment stood painfully still, like an expertly carved marble statue. It took some time before sharp eyes focused, before everything would click into place.
My apartment. My bed. My lover.
October's vision was just as crystal clear as day in the dark room, Eyes shifting towards the sleeping figure next to him while curious fingers couldn't help but touch cool against the soft, warm flesh hidden underneath the bedsheets. The other stirred, making a soft noise of distaste before shifting legs and bringing a hand up to rub at his eyes. Drusus wasn't sure if he was quite awake yet.
"'Tober why are you awake..?" His voice was softer than he had intended it to be, and if it had not been for October's well trained hearing, the words would have been lost to the breeze outside their window. The question would have to wait. Instead though, October would swoop down in one fluid motion to cup the other boy's cheek in his hand and gingerly place a kiss on the corner of his lips before retracting and dragging his thumb across Dru's bottom lip in the process.
"Mmn.."
"Go back to bed.." There was no complaints from the red-head, but it was obviously he was still sleep lulled enough to take October's command to heart and he turned back on his side, drawing the sheets around his naked form and let his mind be seduced with the enticing proposition of dreams. He watched, ignoring the feral instinct and tugging coil in his stomach as avidly stared at the other boy's stark white neck against the dark silken sheets, ears drumming with the beating pulse underneath that skin.
No, no he would not take this boy. October had decided long ago that he would keep this one for good and there was to be no one who would tell him otherwise. Dru was going to be his token, his saving grace when all the weight of the world bore down on him too painfully, when it dug onto his shoulders so deeply he would feel as if he were going to crumble right then and there. No, if he had Dru with him, October knew he would have something to cling to. Anything to keep him from falling all the way down.
With that thought, the corners of his lips pulled slightly and his alabaster features softened with the play of moonlight across his face. October arranged himself on the mattress behind the other boy, reaching an arm possessively around his midsection as he pulled himself as close as possible to the warm body and placed a kiss on the back of the other's neck.
"Goodnight, love.."
