kona night out
Last night.... was different.
After a rather... unexpected encounter at Kona, Grace Julia and I met up with a bunch of other people who work(ed) there at Balcony [for my own record: Renee, Amy, Sally, Stacey, Levi, Lindsay, Christy--sp?Stacey's little sister, and I think that's it?]. Good times ensued, and Stacey put my drinks on her tab so I wouldn't have to, ya know, try and buy them myself with an "under 21" bracelet quite attatched to me. Turns out I can't count though, and still owe her about $3. The creepy guy who decided to dance with me added to the oddness of the eve. Oh, and I saw Shane from Bob's.... good times! I haven't talked to him since I quit/took a permanent leave of absence.
So three mango long islands and almost all of the Kona people left, except my dearest Gracie lol. She and one of her friends (Liz) who I know I've seen before but I don't remember well were still around dancing, her boyfriend showed up, and these three guys decided to try and annoy us into dancing with them. Surprisingly, that didn't work as well as they might have hoped. Thank goodness girls go to the bathroom in packs, b/c it was a great way to end the conversation. Leaving. I was done for the eve though, called Jonny, and headed home. Good evening indeed! Now if only my purse didn't smell like smoke, all would be right with the world.
