turns out i'm still alive?

so far break's been great... drove up to ann arbor the other night, and further to bois blanc. lounged around by an amazing fireplace, read a book, went snowmobiling halfway around the island, got to see meg's oldest sister for the first time, hung out with her/my dad, met the boyfriend, hung out with brandon, saw eric for a bit.... then we flew back with dale on saturday afternoon, drove back to ann arbor, i stayed the night with meegs and saw her little sister and ate dinner at their unos and saw her little *and by little i mean bigger than me now* brother. next morn i drove back and had a wonderful day just sitting at home. i dont think i've ever said that the first day of being home before- its a nice feeling. still haven't gotten the room clean (or house, but whatever) but i finished another book, so that totally makes up for it in my mind!

i love this: all i have to do is show up at random houses and occassionally go to work! *sigh* christmas break needs to keep up its awesomeness. one of these days i'm going to have to brave the return line at old navy.... which lets be honest, is scarier than shit!

in the meantime, though, i have to get ready for another dead exciting day at kona with oxford's population down by about a gazillion. hopefully enough townies will come in for lunch and tip very very well. or you guys could come in.... and tip very very well! i'll be there til maybe one... maybe three.... who knows. now i just need it to be thursday so i can find out my stupid grades for the semester... eep.
