That one band made alot of what the scene was. Besde they weren't just one band they had the skills to make it.I agree with steve we need to make somthing.
ok dude for one thing one band doesent just make the whole scene. i agree that they were talented and were a good band but i mean u have to like give credit to upcoming bands and also other bands that have been playing.by you saying the scene is dead it discourages ppl from going and giving support to these other bands . u say the scene is dead i say its growing.
Alot of these upcoming bands dont have what the superfriends had.But your right the scene isent dead we still have the lusitania.Dont get me wrong I like some of the new bands but honestly alot of them dont have talent (no offense)that these guys had.
ok yeah dude flw yarb and soma all great bands and all have been around for a while. and dude like im saying you re just giving credit to one band and one band doesent make up the scene. and like no bands start off at teh top so saying that alot of the bands dont have any ttalent is crap cause they are out there doing what they like to do and they are playing there music no matter what. and like in my opinion there are sevral bands that have gratly supassed thos bands
ok i dident know i was giving credit to one band when i said superfriends you know with a S meaning plural meaning more than one. Saying they dont have talent is my opinion like you believe in your xXx thing thats what i believe and dont start with me with your whole xXx thing cuz im not talking about that i wanna just state my opinion like you did and ill back it up as long as i have too.Im just saying with another loss of the superfriends these scene is loosing what it once had but then again you say its growing and thats your opinion and mine no need to get mad about one person's opinion.
by the giving credit to one band i was efering to your statement abaout the lusitanina and i know that its like your opinion and im not trying to like prove you wrong. like you said we are both stating our opinions. and i do agree that with 2 bands that made the scene in the beging gon it will be missing something. and that is my mistake oon that part because i thought u were saying like that there is nothing left just because those bands are gone. but i will end this conversation with this those bands stated it all but it is the up and coming bands that will continue to make the scene what it is.
no i am not giving credit to one band.... but keith the scene basically is flw yarb soma
soma changed so much and i still like them but not as much as everyone else does and flw is gone yarbrough was amazing to me and if their gone wats left TO ME!
and like i have said in every one of these they are apart of the scene not the scene because if it was only those three bands that wouldent be verry much of a scene now would it
i must agree with scuba and ruben on this one. the super friends made a huge impact on the scene here. when all those bands played together, there was a strong sense of unity between the bands and the fans alike. and now that those bands are gone you lose the unity as well as the appreciation. those bands made a huge impact on a lot of people. what's left are bands trying to revitalize what once was. but what we have is too much of the same. all this metal/hardcore/grindcore stuff all sounds exactly the same, comstant screaming just isn't original. the scene for me has died, but it's up to bands like vic dr and ursa minor to preserve it. and for the record yarbrough was much better than flw.
