Flashbacks
I remember that last year really sucked. Everything sucked. And I remember I couldn't wait for the summer. When it came... everything was so much better. Seussical, the late ABC, Vikings, pools, pizza.... all good. Other things also added to the level of awesome-ness that it reached (some of you know, some of you don't... those of you who do know will NOT divulge ANY information in comments)...... And then things changed again. Parts of life were still good, but a lot of it really sucked. But you have to take those memories and moments for what they were. Things were good then and for a while I was really happy. But the point is that happy memories remain happy memories despite events that occured before and after. Why? Because you really CAN'T change the past. Remember everything for what it WAS, not for what it turned out to be. "You never see the bad days iin the photo albums, but they're what gets you from one happy snapshot to the next."
In the end... I have no regrets. None. I wouldn't change anything or do anything differently. Cause it all got me here. And maybe here isn't such a bad place to be after all...
