So this week has been fun.
Anthony came with me to meet my family on my Mum's 50th birthday party. The party itself was typically Morris. With caterers, garden jenga, boules, champagne, piano playing etc etc. The weather stayed nice, which was a relief, but me and Ant got there a few hours late, and so had missed the buffet. We made our big entrance after getting changed, and it was really nice to see my parents again, (I haven't seen them since Easter), but even more surprisingly, it was also nice to see my extended family! Maybe I'm growing up hehe! Well, it all went very smoothly, Ant was politeness incarnate. And everyone seemed to like him. It made me so happy for me to be able to have a relationship and to be able to share it with my family, especially my parents. I thought it would be quite a shock to them for them to finally meet my boyfriend, but they seemed fine with it, a little nervous maybe, but fine with it all the same! It just made me happy. That simple.
I have finally worked up the courage to use the free weights in the gym :D get me, I am so impressed! Moving onto bench press machines next.... If only i could put on some muscle, so that i would at least have something to show for my hours in there! Its been almost 7 months now. I don't really think its been money well spent! oh well.
Work is going oki, very very slow at times, and we now have a new manager. Which makes me realise how much i miss my old manager, Rachel, she was so cool, and so relaxed about everything, and now we're got this other woman, Louise, who seems fine, don't get me wrong! I don't want to be a bitch, its just gonig to take her awhile to get settled and for her to feel comfortable there. At the moment, shes quite stressed, and feels she has to put on a new face for everything, her own mark.blah blah.
In music news, Fergie is number one in the US with London Bridge, i honestly don't know what the hype is with that song, no doubt it will grow on me. like a fungus. it also goes to show that a second listen will do you wonders, as i now love Me & U by Cassie and Deja Vu by Beyonce, two songs that i thought were well below parr on first listen.
Work at 9 tomorrow :( xx
