(no subject)
All in all things have been pretty good lately, though I am a little ticked off with the final copy of Philosophical Crap. Luckily, Professor Mason understood what was going on, but I just feel like I busted my butt to have an entire semester's worth of work go down the toilet:
1. it has no cover, the cover is a flyer the person in charge of printing ripped down instead of using the word file cover
2. half the magazine is missing and we now have to apologize to those writers, and there are things included that were not supposed to be there, namely MY work
3. poems and essays are formatted incorrectly
4. page numbers and some headings are WRITTEN in
5. it's not bound
I know it's not that horrible and next semester's edition will be ten times better, but I'm still embarassed to be having to know put this at the disposal of the university community. So, my sincerest apologies to all of those who manage to find and actually pick it up to read...the works included are actually good.
So, I guess what I was getting at is that the magazine lived up to the worse part of it's name, but next semester it'll be better. So, if anyone has anything they'd like to submit, please send it to me. You will recieve a free copy for being in the magazine. We accept any writing format from any discipline. We even take cartoons, crosswords, and photographed artwork.
Other than that little rant that needed to come out, i'm sooooooooooo happy about this coming weekend. It's ridiculous, I feel like a 7 year old on Christmas morning (and yes I know I act like that too for all you wise guys). SO, YAY weekend. Oh yeah, and if anyone wants to see Victor/Victoria at SLOC, let me know. I can give rides and send you the site for ticket purchase.
