HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE!!!
In other news, I finally managed to get out and about yesterday for something other than class or work or apo. I went to Words Without Walls, the first annual creative writing conference put together by Sage, RPI, and UA with speakers from around the nation. It was sooooooo HOT, god, I forgot how much I love writing, and yesterday I just wrote and wrote and wrote EVERYTHING from screenplays to short storied to poems to the beginning of a novel and another screenplay.
On top of this wonderful opportunity to write, do peer critiques, and write some more, I got to plug my magazine and actually recieved several from professionals to contribute articles and possibly help fund the magazine. I also recieved offers to help edit and publish other magazine ideas people have, and an offer to help me produce one of the screenplays I wrote and enter it in a local film festival.
As if life couldn't get any better Jil Hanifan now absolutely adores me, I got to act in front of a live audience, a nice friend cooked dinner and all I had to do was eat it, I completely ignored all work I need to do, and slept in today.
