Sunny has officially improved!
I spoke with Dr Hayes today (he just happened to pick up when I called). The high fever of 39.5 (that's about 103 in American) from yesterday is completely gone and Sunny's heart rate is down to about 110 from 157 (I think) yesterday. It looks as if the treatment for the infection has been working.
On the downside, her kidneys are not behaving today, but that is not particularly unusual. They are going to give her some fluids for them to correct the issue.
It's good to actually get some news about things improving.
