"YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP!"
whatever is the opposite of the Midas Touch (let's take a page from my homies in Bloodhound Gang and call it "The Bad Touch"), i've got it.
so many things have literally broken on me lately.
1. my laptop has not been functional in a useful context, especially for internet purposes, for a few weeks. it's essentially a $2000 paperweight until i take it to ICT to get fixed and/or rebuilt.
2. my truck has been making a tiny little whirring noise for about 2 or 3 months. starting last week, it started making 4 or 5 different and unrelated noises. sunday, my truck would hardly brake and unbrake. $510 later, i will finally be getting my truck back.
3. since i've been riding my bike lately, i've not felt the sting of being truckless. but today, my bike seat came loose, my front tire is shaking, and my chain is being really touchy. at least the brakes work on my bike. for now.
4. a couple hours ago, i was about to back up the files Kevan and i have been working on for this semester's first experiment in the psych lab. to my surprise, the computer will not start. great. turns out i can retrieve the files in disk form, but the tower is shot and we will have to get a new one. i've also gotta come in really early tomorrow to get all of the papers ready for the experiment, and catch up on a day's lost work.
5. the coaxial cable for my TV got one end of it ripped out. that's actually kinda funny to me.
6. this weekend i'm going golfing with my uncles, dad, and grandpa. but i don't have a 3-wood. why? you guessed it. broken.
7. my financial aid was kinda broken to, if you count owing $250 supposedly instead of actually getting $600 like you're supposed to. but that FINALLY got fixed.
i'm investing in a plastic bubble. i hear john travolta has a spare. if not, i'll just steal jake gylenhall's. at least he actually HAS immunities.
